2017-2018 Course Selection Sequence
January 8- 11th: Advanced Course Presentation presented in classrooms by counselors for students.
January 17th: Students learn information about course offerings in school. Students will hear from their teachers about the course offerings from the content areas in which they teach. They will have the opportunity to ask questions to our graduating seniors who have taken these courses and will also watch videos about elective offerings.
January 18th: 2017-2018 Course Selection & Advanced Academics Washburn High School Parent Information Night 6:00-7:00 pm.
January 19th: PSEO Panel discussion for interested students during the school day.
January 30th- February 28nd: Course registration. Counselors meet with each student individually. Parents are welcome to meet with their counselor regarding their student’s course selection beginning in April.
April: Confirmation of student requests mailed home.
June 12th: Last day to make schedule request changes.
August (TBD): Schedules available at Welcome Back Night.

Midwest Student Exchange Program: (MSEP) is a tuition reduction program that makes attending out-of-state colleges and universities more affordable for non-resident students. By enrolling in a MSEP program at a participating institution, you will receive a reduced tuition rate-giving you a wider range of education options for your education dollars. Nearly one hundred colleges and universities in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin have opened their doors to each others' citizens by offering reduced tuition rates.
